Adrian Moore


 

Adrian Moore lives in Sheffield and has been working in the field of electroacoustic music for some time. He graduated with a PhD from the University of Birmingham in 1998, studying with Jonty Harrison. He is a director of Sonic Arts Network. He has worked at CNSM-Lyon, Université de Montréal and ZKM-Karlsruhe and is a lecturer in music at Sheffield University where he directs the electroacoustic studios. His work is published by DIFFUSION i MéDIA. His main interests are the performance, teaching and dissemination of electroacoustic music and his work aims to show the enjoyment that can be achieved in music-making, whatever the circumstances.

Main works include Sea of Singularity, a six movement suite of 30 minutes, (Sheffield 2001/2), Ethereality (Sheffield 2001), Superstrings (Sheffield 2000), Study in Ink (1997), Junky (Birmingham, 1996) and Sieve (Birmingham, London 1994)
