NOTE:

Please note that the price for the post conference tour is $270 pp, with a supplement for a single room of $176 pp. This includes one night accommodation with continental breakfast in a double room at the Rossia Hotel (Tourist class, 3 star), a 1st class train ticket St Petersburg – Moscow – St Petersburg, transportation to the itinerary, Guide service for city tour & Kremlin and the entrance fee to the mentioned museums.

VISA Information

We should advise you that a visa is required to enter to Russia for all countries. As usual participants of conferences held by museums apply for a tourist visa, as this kind of visa does not influence their activities in Russia and the price for a tourist visa is much lower. You should use a fax copy of the visa support documents applying for a tourist visa in a Russian Consulate in your country. Kindly note that in the line "purpose of your visit to Russia" you should write "travel" or "tourism".

The visa-issuing fee can vary from $30 - $70 individually in each country. For tourist visa support please advise names, number of passport, date of birth, citizenship, hotel in St Petersburg and fax number.

In addition, the following information was given by Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

1. Citizens of Ukraine, Belorussia, Moldova, Kazahkstan, Kirgiztan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Tadgikistan do not need visas.

2. Citizens of Poland, Romania, Bosnia, Hertzegovina the situation is that if they come to Russia first time, i.e. they have never been in Russia before, they need a business invitation letter issued by Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If they were in Russia once, they need tourist visas. Prices of business invitation are as follows:

issue in 5 days - one entry business invitation costs $21 + postal costs

issue in 11 days - one entry business invitation costs $19 + postal costs

Please take in consideration, that the delivery takes several weeks!
