Joining CIMCIM

Return to the CIMCIM Welcome Page

Membership of CIMCIM is personal, and is open to individual and institutional members of ICOM. To become a member of CIMCIM, you will need to fill out the CIMCIM membership application form and join ICOM. Completing the CIMCIM membership application form ensures that you will receive communications from CIMCIM.

To join ICOM, follow the instructions on the ICOM website and register for CIMCIM as your international committee by completing the ICOM international committee application.

If you are already an ICOM member, you need to advise ICOM that you wish to join CIMCIM as your international committee by completing the the ICOM international committee application.

Under special circumstances, individuals who are not members of ICOM can subscribe to CIMCIM directly. This generally applies only to those who are not eligible to join ICOM or to ICOM members who already belong to another international committee. To apply for CIMCIM membership on this basis, please complete the CIMCIM membership application form, which will ask for an explanation of why you are unable to join ICOM, or to specify that you are a member of another ICOM international committee.
