The music library is integrated into the Main University Library, George Square. The library catalogue contains well over a million items, covering books, journal titles, electronic resources, musical scores and recordings

The Reid houses a collection of wind, bowed, string and percussion instruments from all periods and places, with an emphasis on European instruments.

St. Cecilia's includes the Raymond Russell and the Rodger Mirrey Collections of Early Keyboard Instruments and the Anne Macaulay Collection of String Instruments.
