Music
at the University of Edinburgh has achieved an excellent result
in the RAE 2008. Sixty-five percent of our research activity
was judged to be world leading or internationally excellent
(4* or 3*) for all fifteen academic staff submitted for assessment.
This acknowledges our excellence in research and enhances
our commitment to research-led teaching, within a world-leading
institution.
